Mission Statement
It is the mission of St. Lawrence County Office of Emergency Services Bureau of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to provide the leadership, support, education, and cooperation necessary to enable the nineteen (19) transporting ambulance services and sixteen (16) first response agencies serving St. Lawrence County to provide the best pre-hospital emergency medical care possible, and to provide that leadership, support, education, and cooperation in a lasting and professional partnership with the dedicated emergency services providers within the St. Lawrence County Emergency Medical Services System.
To achieve a collaborative and effective EMS system within St. Lawrence County, the Bureau of EMS works closely with all EMS providers within the County by sharing information, maintaining resource listings for mutual aid and mass casualty incident purposes, supporting training programs, and working collaboratively with EMS agency Chiefs/Directors and representatives from local, state, and federal health organizations.
