KEEP YOUR HARD-EARNED DOLLARS IN ST. LAWRENCE COUNTY!

Bring in or mail your DMV Renewals to one of our four St. Lawrence County Motor Vehicle offices. When the local DMV office processes your registration or driver's license renewal, the County keeps 10.75% of the fee. This goes directly to the County's general fund which helps to reduce your County Tax Levy. Help prevent St. Lawrence County from losing revenue.

Thank you for your help and we sincerely appreciate your business!

***Commercial Driver's License***

Commercial Driver's License requirements changed in February of 2022, review our Memorandum for more information.

Have you stopped receiving your DMV renewals by mail?

Here is how to fix it:

  1. Go to https://process.dmv.ny.gov/enotification/index.cfm
  2. Enter your driver's license ID number.
  3. Click UNSUBSCRIBE

If you received your renewal through email:

  1. Follow the prompts to unsubscribe within the email.
  2. Do so as soon as you receive your email.
  3. If your vehicle registration is due to expire within 75 days, you will likely not receive a paper reminder.

Be aware that you will NOT receive a paper renewal if you have used the online renewal.  Renewals will be sent to the email address associated the registrant.  Visit the Department of Motor Vehicle web page and “Update Subscription,” to start receiving a paper renewal again or follow the prompts in the email.
