Farmers' Market Program
The Farmers Market Coupon Program is a program sponsored jointly by the New York State Office for the Aging, the NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets, the New York State Department of Health, and Cornell Cooperative Extension. One must be 60 years of age or older and meet income guidelines.

The program begins in July, and runs through October 31st. The program is designed:
- To provide resources for low income seniors who are at nutritional risk in the form of coupons for purchase of fresh fruits and vegetables at approved Farmers Markets.
- To expand the awareness and use of Farmers Markets by this nutritionally at-risk population, and to further encourage and support healthy and nutritious food choices.
