St. Lawrence County Housing Council
The St. Lawrence County Housing Council, Inc. is a community based, private non-profit organization based in Canton, NY. We provide an array of services targeted to promote safe and affordable housing, community revitalization and economic development. We have been serving St. Lawrence County for more than two decades.

We provide assistance in the following areas: home ownership counseling, grants, affordable rental housing, community facilities, home repair loans plus many other programs designed to benefit our communities.

Our Mission:

  • To improve the quality of life enjoyed by residents of St. Lawrence County through the preservation, and provision of decent and affordable housing, by providing opportunities for homeownership; and, through community revitalization activities which protect the public’s health, safety and economic well being.

St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce
The St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce provides tourists and local citizens with information on tourism and travel, business and industry, education, and other cultural activities.


The Council for International Trade, Technology, Education and Communication, Inc.
CI-TEC is a non-profit organization that is part of the New York State Science and Technology Foundation's New York Manufacturing Extension Partnership program and an affiliate of the NIST Manufacturing Extension Partnership. CI-TEC is a manufacturing and technology assistance center. CI-TEC provides technical assistance to manufacturing companies throughout the North Country.


The North Country Alliance
The North Coutry Alliance is a consortium of economic development organizations working in New York's six-county North Country. Its role is to offer a single point of access to the resources you need to expand or locate your business in the North Country. Two core services that the NCA offers are marketing assistance and access to revolving loan funds.

St. Lawrence Aquarium and Environmental Research Institute
The mission of the St. Lawrence Aquarium and Environmental Research Institute is to promote environmental awareness and understanding by stimulating an attitude of inquiry through exhibits, education and research programs.

St. Lawrence County Snowmobile Association
"Located in Northern New York the St. Lawrence County Snowmobile Association was formed in 1974 and has grown to approximately 500 members strong with eight Member Clubs. We are a 'not for profit organization' relying on the dedication of volunteers who are willing to give countless hours to the winter sport we all love...SNOWMOBILING!
