Preparations have been underway for some time to upgrade the County email system. We plan to begin moving (migrating) mailboxes from the current email server to the new one.
WHEN?
Mailbox migration will begin after hours on Wednesday, March 29.
HOW LONG?
It will take several days to migrate all of the County mailboxes. It will all be complete by FRIDAY, APRIL 7.
WILL ALL OF MY STUFF COME OVER?
Yes. Although, just as when you are cleaning out a closet, it’s nice to dump what you don’t want or need, cleaning out Sent Items, and Deleted Items as well as old emails is appreciated and advised.
HOW DOES THIS AFFECT ME?
Users should notice no difference during or after migration other than better performance.
