Any renovation, repair, or painting (RRP) project in a pre-1978 home or building can easily create dangerous lead dust. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires that RRP projects that disturb lead-based paint be performed by lead-safe certified contractors.

The Lead Renovation, Repair, and Painting Training includes classroom, hands-on activities, and an examination. Upon completion, individuals will obtain the EPA RRP Initial Certification as a Certified Renovator.
