St. Lawrence County has closed the physical location for the Department of Social Services December 21st through Monday, December 28th.
There has been a positive case of COVID-19 identified and the closure of the Harold B. Smith Building at 6 Judson Street, Canton will provide an opportunity to have the impacted areas thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. Services provided by the Department will be available to the public, please call (315) 379-2111 or email for assistance. All staff will continue working remotely today through Wednesday, December 23rd with the Offices closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
The Harold B. Smith Building will tentatively reopen on Monday, December 28th. The County appreciates the patience of the public as we continue working through these challenges to keep staff and the public safe.
