The River Valley Redevelopment Agency was created to jointly promote economic development for its members and in furtherance thereof, to exercise all the powers granted by the laws of the State of New York, including, but not limited to, all other powers necessary to effectuate the general purposes herein. The Agency will adhere to appropriate statutes in New York State General Municipal Law, Public Officer Law, County and Town Law as it is appropriate but in particular regard to open meetings, financial disclosure, Freedom of Information, and Audits.
The representatives of the Agency consist of those persons designated as such by the County of St. Lawrence, and the Towns of Lisbon and Louisville, each of whom shall appoint one Representative,and one representative jointly appointed by the Village and Town Waddington as set forth in the St. Lawrence RVRDA Agreement.
